ARM provide products that are truly intended to transform the operation of their client’s businesses. ARM delivers a complete Internet of Things (IoT) solution for their partners and customers. It’s rooted in their deep understanding of the future of compute and security.

Along with this understanding, ARM’s business sector is a hugely competitive for new talent recruitment and retention. Taking the above into consideration it was critical that ARM created an exceptional office environment that not only aligned with their forward thinking mind set but focused around their people.

Atelier Ten were appointed to work alongside Graven architects to develop the 26,910 sq.ft space spread across the ground and first floors at St Vincent Plaza. Atelier Ten’s role including the delivery of the building services for the space, BREEAM, health and wellbeing.

As part of this role Atelier Ten designed smart building technologies which integrated into the base build using BMS via a smart gateway. These technologies were Envoy, an intelligent room booking system to alert staff of visitors and availability of meeting spaces across the 2 floorplates and the Enlighted control system.

The Enlighted system delivers a leading technology platform for smart buildings. This system utilises industry leading sophisticated software-defined sensor technology and big data analytics, which allows multiple streams of data to be captured in real time to ensure systems operate as efficiently and as effectively as possible.

This system modulates the lighting control system and air delivered to each space based on the analysed data, which means based on the occupancy the systems could be shut down in times of low occupancy to save on energy whilst in times of high occupancy the output of these systems could be increased to ensure a comfortable environment was provided.

The fit-out achieved a BREEAM “excellent” rating.
