The exciting new Visitor Centre, developed with Michael Laird Architects, transforms the visitor experience to incorporate state-of-the art facilities and bring to life the history and unique essence of Talisker.

Talisker is the oldest working distillery on the Isle of Skye, set on the shores of Loch Harport in the village of Carbost. The Distillery tour includes the 5 copper pot stills and the traditional worm tubs that make Talisker so unique.

Atelier Ten’s design includes an all electric solution for the building services with Air Source Heat Pump (ASHP) technology providing low carbon heating and hot water for the following areas:

• Wild Spirits Exhibit
• ‘Made by the Sea’ immersive experience
• Maturation house tour
• Tasting rooms
• Bar
• Retail experience
• New cafe building as well with private client rooms
