Designed to accommodate a range of musical, theatrical, dance, and media-based productions, The Lindemann Performing Arts Center (The Lindemann) combines highly flexible performance spaces with advanced building systems that support diverse modes of use.
The Lindemann creates a new home for the arts that adapts to evolving pedagogical and creative needs while delivering high levels of performance, comfort, and operational efficiency. Atelier Ten provided energy analysis to evaluate the building’s performance and support the LEED approach. Through comparative energy modeling, Atelier Ten worked with the design team to identify and quantify strategies that reduce energy use while meeting the complex environmental demands of a state-of-the-art performing arts facility. The Proposed Design illustrates an annual energy use savings of 29% relative to the Baseline Design.
