Leanora Paniccia LEED AP BD+C

As a Director in New York, Leanora’s expertise spans from sustainable frameworks and masterplan development to complex facades and comprehensive water management.  As leader of the firm’s masterplanning practice and a member of the environmental design practice, Leanora offers an advantageous perspective with her understanding of a project from a macro to micro approach. Her wide-range of project experience includes high-performing laboratories and healthcare buildings, universities and corporate campuses, commercial high-rise towers and cultural institutions.

Since joining Atelier Ten in 2008, Leanora has played a significant role in her contribution to a diverse range of high-profile projects, of which include the Obama Presidential Center, NYU 181 Mercer Street, and Net-Zero Targeted Kihei High School. Notably, she has also successfully managed the LEED Platinum certification for both NYU’s New Science Building and Comcast Innovation Center.

As an accredited LEED Professional with Building Design and Construction  (BD+C) specialty, Leanora is committed member of the sustainable design community and continues to serve as an adjunct professor lecturing at Parsons School of Design, and previously for New York Institute of Technology, Columbia University and Yale School of Architecture. Leanora holds a Master of Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Engineering from Lafayette College.
