As part of our continuing relationship with The University of St Andrews, the project involved the refurbishment of landmark halls of residence within a Listed Property. The property currently has Grade ‘B’ listing and was constructed in 1911.
Atelier Ten were part of the sympathetic refurbishment of this Listed property, careful consideration was been given to service reticulation routes, to avoid disruption to existing architectural finishes, particular care to the ‘oak panelled’ dining room where light fittings have to be rewired.
Works included, new feature lighting to corridors, study libraries and a performance space, the provision of new small power installations in accordance with HMO regulations, new data installations, room lighting, and fire alarm modifications.
