This large, prestigious urban planning Masterplan, set in the heart of London’s financial district, includes highrise residential buildings, commercial and community spaces balanced with amenity and green space.
The Masterplan aims to create high-quality urban environments where people will choose to live, work, visit and which are able to accommodate future growth and change within a sustainable development framework. Central to the Masterplan is its well-considered and generous public realm strategy which will underpin the transformation of a current back-land site into a fully-functioning part of London.
Atelier Ten conducted workshops and pre-assessments to implement a holistic approach to sustainability across the entire Masterplan. This was tracked using a Sustainability Implementation Plan.
All residential dwellings across the Masterplan are targeting CSH level 4. All non-domestic elements are targeting BREEAM ‘Excellent’.
