Atelier Ten evaluated the viability of multiple environmental options intended to conserve energy, water and provide thermal and visual comfort. The agreed measures have been captured within a Sustainability Implementation Plan and will be tracked throughout the design process.

58% of the heating and domestic hot water demand is expected to be provided by a centralised Combined Heat and Power system. Each apartment will be provided with water saving fixtures and 100% energy efficient light sources.

Through carbon profiling a 30% reduction in embodied carbon of construction materials is expected compared to UK average residential towers. The residential units are targeting Code for Sustainable Homes Level 4 and the office and retail are targeting BREEAM ‘Excellent’.
