Nile Street Housing

A residential scheme of 175 homes which all have optimised outdoor balcony space as well as angles to catch the sun. Due to the high density of the project, the roofs were designed as public terraces with planted gardens space to increase biodiversity.

A residential scheme of 175 homes of which 128 count as affordable. The different types of accommodation include: key worker flats, one, two and three-bedroom rental flats and market value sales apartments. There is no external aesthetic difference between all these typologies: the building is designed as a coherent whole.

Due to the very high density of the project, the roofs of the building were designed as public terraces with planted gardens.

A youth club that existed on the site was incorporated into the scheme.
