Marianne Löwgren MSc

Environmental Design & Strategic Partnerships, London

Marianne joined Atelier Ten’s sustainability team as an Environmental Designer back in 2020, working on a wide range of projects across all scales. Her area of expertise is to develop and provide guidance on holistic design solutions that generate multidimensional value for people, society and planet – focussing on Regenerative Design, Climate Resilience and Nature Based Solutions. Her remit is unlocking the interconnection between nature and human well-being in the built environment, working with the power of architecture and environmental design in creating places and spaces that enhance both human and planetary health.

Since 2024, Marianne has also leveraged Atelier Ten’s expertise in the wider industry by taking on the role as Business Development Manager. By developing and implementing a new Business Development Strategy for the London office, she is focussing on strategic partnerships, industry engagement and thought leadership to accelerate the transition towards a green and circular economy required to live well within environmental limits. Marianne has also been leading Atelier Ten’s global ESG reporting.

With her scientific background rooted in climate science and ecosystem engineering, experience and recognition of the complexities in working in developing countries and multilateral communities, inter-personal skills and genuine interest in relationship building – Marianne brings a diverse experience and perspectives that allows her to effectively lead and manage complex projects that require systems thinking to generate real impact.
