Extensive renovations of two of three signature buildings first certified on the YSM campus under the LEED-CI program provided an opportunity to improve visual and thermal comfort and set a new standard for future renovations of older laboratories on campus.
Atelier Ten’s hands-on LEED program management enabled the Amistad Building project to earn all of the innovation credits, including those for Green Building Education and Green Cleaning, a first for the YSM. For the I-Wing renovation, a comprehensive construction recycling plan enabled 85% of construction and demolition waste to be diverted from landfills.
