Transforming a former suburban office park into a nature-anchored ambulatory care campus, Penn Radnor Medicine actively restores ecological systems while enhancing human wellbeing. Through focused LEED Benchmarking Administration, Atelier Ten helped position the project’s biophilic, patient-centered campus for LEED Gold certification, translating the project’s sustainability aspirations into verified performance.
The U-shaped building frames a landscaped public courtyard that provides outdoor areas of respite for staff, patients and the surrounding community. Surrounding meadows, rain gardens, and native plantings regenerate habitat, manage stormwater on site, and create a lush network of restorative outdoor spaces.
Atelier Ten guided the team through the full LEED documentation and compliance process. This work ensured that the design intent—emphasizing daylight access, nature-integrated public spaces, and sustainable site systems—was accurately captured and supported throughout the certification pathway.
