Nico Kienzl joins NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio’s One City: Built to Last Technical Working Group
Director Nico Kienzl of the New York office has been invited to join One City: Built to Last Technical Working Group assembled by New York City Mayor, Bill de Blasio, to address city building emissions.
The Technical Working Group will meet for the first time today (February 13, 2015).
One City: Built to Last is a 10-year plan to reduce energy use in existing buildings by 10%. As part of this 40-member panel of leading industry experts, Nico will bring his commitment and expertise in high-performance building and sustainable strategies to assist the Mayor and the City over the next year to solidify programs, incentives, and mandates to retrofit existing buildings to be more energy efficient with the goal of 10% energy reduction in 10 years.
