Atelier Ten is pleased to welcome the following new staff members to the New York and San Francisco offices.
Amy Leedham, Environmental Designer (San Francisco)
Having previously worked for the architecture firm EHDD as a designer and sustainability specialist, Amy joins the Environmental Design practice as an Environmental Designer. Her proficiency in building physics and architecture fosters communication between the design team and technical consultants. Amy holds a M. Arch in Sustainable Environmental Design from the Architectural Association in London and a BS from Northeastern University.
Anish Tilak, Technical Staff (San Francisco)
Anish joins Atelier Ten’s Environmental Design practice as a Technical Staff member. With experience in multi-objective façade optimization, Anish can provide parametric evaluation of cost and carbon impacts of different façade choices to understand the feasibility of construction. Anish holds a M.S. in Civil & Environmental Engineering from Stanford University and a B.Arch. from University of Southern California.
Emmanuel Telhomme, Senior Accountant (New York)
As a member of Atelier Ten’s finance team, Emmanual brings fifteen years of financial experience to his financial role. Formerly with The Players in New York, he served as Comptroller and oversaw internal controls. At Atelier Ten, Emmanuel serves as the Senior Accountant managing the US operations’ project finance processes. Emmanuel holds a B.S.A. from Hunter College, CUNY.
Kaley Blackstock, Technical Staff (New York)
Kaley joins the Environmental Design practice as a Technical Staff member. Studying thermodynamics and sustainable building systems, Kaley’s architectural education was a balance of design and performance. Kaley received her M. Arch from the Harvard Graduate School of Design and BA in History of Art and Architecture from Harvard College.
Rebecca Riss, Technical Staff (New York)
Rebecca joins the Environmental Design practice as a Technical Staff member. Awarded the Building Technologies Honor Award upon graduation, Rebecca has a strong understanding of the relationship between a building’s expression and performance. She received her M. Arch from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation and a BA majoring in physics and studio art from Carleton College.
Sunayana Jain, Senior Environmental Designer (New York)
With seven years of experience, Sunayana joins the Energy Analysis practice as a Senior Environmental Designer. Sunayan is a Certifed Energy Manager and worked as an energy engineer at L&S Energy Sevices prior to joining Atelier Ten. She has extensive experience with eQuest whole building modeling, LEED benchmarking and verification. Sunayana holds a MS in Construction Management from Texas A&M University and a B.Arch from the Indian Institute of Technology.
Te Qi, Environmental Designer (San Francisco)
Joining the Energy Analysis practice earlier this year, Te is an Environmental Designer and LEED AP BD+C. Prior to Atelier Ten, he worked as a Sustainability Manager at The Beck Group in Texas. In his six months at Atelier Ten, Te has spearheaded Atelier Ten’s IES modeling work and provided complex energy analysis for some of the largest projects in the office. He holds a M.S. in High Performance Building from Georgia Institute of Technology and a B.Eng. from Tianjin University in China.
Chris Carper, Senior Environmental Designer (New York)
Chris joins the Energy Analysis practice as a Senior Environmental Designer. Prior to joining the New York office, he worked for Honeywell where he surveyed existing buildings to determine how they could operate more energy efficiently. His work surveying hundreds of buildings from schools to offices reduced projects’ energy expenditures anywhere from 10% to 50%. Chris is a Certified Energy Manager and holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Chirag Contractor, Junior Accountant (New York)
Chirag joins Atelier Ten’s Finance team as a Junior Accountant with his expertise in Economics, Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Financial Analysis. Chirag holds Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey.
