HPD Collaborative Technical Committee
Kate Waddick, Environmental Designer in Atelier Ten’s San Francisco office, has been appointed to serve a one-year term on the Health Product Declaration Collaborative™ Technical Committee. The HPD Collaborative is a non-profit organization committed to the continuous improvement of the building industry’s performance through transparency in the product supply chain.
As a technical committee member, Kate will evaluate and expand the Health Product Declaration™ (HPD™), a standard format for reporting product content and associated human and ecological health information for building products and materials. With a M.S. in Environmental Health – Toxicology and Industrial Hygiene, Kate will contribute her experience evaluating authoritative hazard lists, analyzing toxicological endpoints, and conducting chemical hazard assessments.
