Certified Measurement & Verification Professional

We are pleased to announce that Chris Carper, Senior Environmental Designer from the New York office, is now a Certified Measurement & Verification Professional (CMVP). He has successfully completed his certification exam, demonstrating his proficiency in measurement and verification and knowledge of the International Performance Measurement and Verification Protocol (IPMVP).

CMVP is an accreditation from the Efficiency Valuation Organization (EVO) and the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) awarded to qualified professionals in the growing field of M&V within the energy industry. Chris demonstrated the necessary capabilities to write an M&V Plan that adheres to the IPMVP. As a key member of Atelier Ten’s M&V team, Chris investigates how buildings operate and develops strategies to improve their performance.

Atelier Ten applies expertise in low-energy design and analysis to identify operational measures that improve comfort and save energy. We have completed M&V services for Harvard Business School Tata Hall, Yale School of Forestry Kroon Hall, and Sculpture Building and Gallery Yale University, and written verification plans for the 2 million square foot Makuhari New City shopping center in Tokyo, Japan, and the Lassonde Studios facility currently in design at the University of Utah.
