Featured Staff, April 2013: Brian Meinrath, LEED AP BD+C

Brian Meinrath is an environmental designer at Atelier Ten’s San Francisco office. Brian has managed several of the firm’s largest and high-profile projects, including the Transbay Transit Center in San Francisco, the Philadelphia Museum of Art renovation and addition, and the Skaggs Pharmacy Building at the University of Utah, which opens this summer.

A member of Atelier Ten’s Environmental Design practice, Brian has developed many of the firm’s in-house tools for water balance calculations. He is also one of the firm’s experts in façade optimization, working with architects and engineers to improve thermal and visual comfort in a wide variety of complex space types, including laboratories and galleries.

Brian has also successfully managed several LEED Platinum projects, including the Business Instructional Facility at the University of Illinois and the Keeling Apartments at UC San Diego.

Brian previously worked as an architectural design intern for SOM and graduated from Rice University with a BA Architecture and a B.Arch.
