Atelier Ten’s Ben Shepherd to join panel discussion on Targeting 100!

The Boston Society of Architecture Healthcare Facilities Committee and Committee on the Environment, will host a presentation and panel discussion titled Targeting 100!: How Healthcare Can Meet the 2030 Challenge.

Atelier Ten Associate Director, Ben Shepherd, will join the panel discussion that will explore the energy use of operational hospitals, load/energy modeling comparisons and first construction cost implications for hospitals located in various climate regions throughout the United States. The Targeting 100! project aims to create a framework for achieving an energy-use index of less than 100 kBtu/sf/year, representing energy performance in the highest level of multifaceted building types in the United States.

The discussion will take place in Boston on Tuesday, October 9th at the BSA Space located at 290 Congress Street.
