Atelier Ten US Staff Promotions

Atelier Ten is pleased to announce the promotions of Volkan Doda, Michael Esposito, Henry Richardson, and Alyssa Zucker to environmental designers.

Volkan Doda, Environmental Designer (New York)
With a background in architecture and mechanical engineering, Volkan is an integral asset to both the Environmental Design and Energy Analysis practices at Atelier Ten. He consults on large-scale healthcare, academic and commercial projects including the LEED Gold targeted Chao Center at Harvard Business School, the New Science Building at New York University, LEED Gold targeted SUNY Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, and the LEED Platinum targeted Comcast Innovation and Technology Center. Volkan holds a B.S. in Architecture and Engineering Sciences from Yale University and he is a LEED-Accredited Professional.

Michael Esposito, Environmental Designer (New York)
Michael supports a large range of projects at Atelier Ten and has particular expertise in building envelope analysis and façade optimization. He played an active role in providing environmental design guidance and analysis for the LEED Gold targeted Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center under the LEED for Healthcare rating system, the LEED Gold targeted Westchester Branch Public Library for the DDC, and the net-zero energy targeted United Therapeutics headquarters. Michael holds a B.Arch from Cornell University. Prior to working at Atelier Ten, he worked at the Cornell Program of Computer Graphics under the direction of Donald Greenberg and Kevin Pratt, developing tools and processes for parametric energy simulation.

Henry Richardson, Environmental Designer (San Francisco)
Since joining Atelier Ten, Henry has become an integral part of the Environmental Design practice with experience in daylighting, water management, climate analysis, façade optimization, and comfort and glare analysis. He consults on academic and commercial projects ranging from the LEED Gold targeted Research Building at UT Austin’s new Dell Medical School to a LEED Platinum targeted biotechnology office and Net Zero Energy targeted amenity building in South San Francisco. Henry holds a B.A. in Architecture from the University of California, Berkeley and he is a LEED-Accredited Professional.

Alyssa Zucker, Environmental Designer (New York)
As a member of Atelier Ten’s Environmental Design and Masterplanning practices, Alyssa has provided sustainability consulting services for masterplan developments, façade optimization, comprehensive site, and building water management. Her diverse project experience includes university campuses, healthcare facilities, and commercial high rise buildings. Her current work includes the new LEED Platinum targeted Comcast Innovation and Technology Center and LEED platinum targeted NYU Medical Center Kimmel Pavilion. Alyssa holds an M.S. in Public Administration in Environmental Science and Policy from Columbia University and a B.A. in Environmental Studies from Washington University in St. Louis. Alyssa is a LEED-Accredited Professional.
