A Festive Ending for 2020

Our US office is ending 2020 by celebrating the latest promotions of Rufei Wang to Senior Environmental Designer, Ksenia Knyazkina to Senior Environmental Designer, Shelby Smith to Environmental Designer, Emma Frank to Marketing Coordinator, and Danielle Ton to Project Accountant. We invite you to celebrate their recent accomplishments!

Rufei Wang, Senior Environmental Designer

Since joining Atelier Ten’s New York office in 2016, Rufei has worked on many exciting projects from the LEED Gold Statue of Liberty Museum to the ambitious Obama Presidential Center. She’s been excited to guide the environmental design story for her projects including daylight analysis, water conservation, LEED and ILFI Zero Energy.

Ksenia Knyazkina, Senior Environmental Designer

Ksenia has been diving into the details with Atelier Ten since 2016 and has especially enjoyed working on Atelier Ten’s commercial fit-out projects including Skidmore, Ownings & Merrill’s new NYC office. As a LEED Accredited Professional with a specialty in Interior Design and Construction (ID+C) and a WELL Accredited Professional, Ksenia is dedicated to creating healthy and sustainable work environments.

Shelby Smith, Environmental Designer

Since starting in New York as a Design Staff member in 2019, Shelby has greatly contributed to Atelier Ten’s carbon practice. She has been developing the site Life Cycle Assessments for Atelier Ten’s largest University project on the East Coast. This work measured the total embodied and operation carbon associated with the site development over 60 years, and assessed the water budget and water reuse schemes.

Danielle Ton, Project Accountant

Not everyone can say they get excited by working on our internal audits, but Danielle is one of a kind. Since joining Atelier Ten’s Finance Team in 2019, Danielle has learned how to strategize and interpret Atelier Ten’s financial tools and data. She enjoys collaborating with Atelier Ten’s teams and working across offices on unique projects from UC Merced 2020 Project to the Museum of Modern Art.

Emma Frank, Marketing Coordinator

With a passion for sustainability, Emma has absorbed Atelier Ten’s portfolio since joining Atelier Ten’s San Francisco office in 2019. Eager to collaborate with our design teams, she has helped win some of Atelier Ten’s most ambitious projects from tech campuses to research labs. Excited to find creative ways to use Atelier Ten’s data to find new projects, Emma’s an integral part of the national marketing team.

We cannot wait to see the incredible work our staff will continue to produce in their new positions. Congratulations!
