The Burrell Collection scoops two awards at the British Construction Industry Awards

We are delighted to announce that the Burrell Collection has won the Cultural & Leisure Project of the Year and the Project of the Year Award at the 2022 British Construction Industry Awards.

The £68m revitalisation project of The Burrell Collection, the most comprehensive modernisation of the Category-A listed museum since its opening in 1983. The scheme sensitively adapted the interior to meet contemporary visitor needs, allowing much greater flexibility and access to the collection, whilst markedly improved energy efficiency, achieving BREEAM Excellent.

Atelier Ten provided the building services engineering, fire engineering, lighting design and BREEAM for the project.
