Natural History Museum given planning permission

Atelier Ten are pleased to be part of the team improving access to and amenities at London’s Natural History Museum, working with Níall McLaughlin Architects and landscape architect Kim Wilkie. The plans, which have been given the go-ahead by the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, will transform the surroundings of the Grade I-listed museum. A new street-level civic square, a cloistered entrance and a series of external galleries will be incorporated around the museum, while a new access route using the Exhibition Road tunnel will be provided.
