Atelier Ten’s “Passion for Passive” at AIA LA COTE Symposium and 2026 CATE International Conference

Atelier Ten’s taking our passion for passive on tour this spring.

Associates Madeline Gradillas and Maggie Smith will be presenting at both the AIA LA COTE – 1.5°C Symposium and the CATE 2026 International Conference, sharing real-world lessons from implementing natural ventilation strategies across a range of project typologies.

Natural ventilation and passive cooling can advance resilience, wellbeing, and low-carbon comfort in California’s evolving climate. Through commercial, residential and municipal case studies, they will highlight both the barriers and successes we encounter in practice and how our team is advancing natural ventilation and passive cooling in a climate that is rapidly changing.
