Atelier Ten at NYC Climate Week 2025

We are looking forward to connecting at NYC Climate Week in September. Atelier Ten will be participating in the following panels throughout the week – we hope to see you there!

Shanta Tucker, Director will join panelists from Redbrick, NY Green Bank, and the Columbia Business School for a lively exploration on the successes, challenges, and future of decarbonizing new and existing assets. Buildings account for nearly 40% of global carbon emissions — making them central to the climate challenge and opportunity. The panelists will explore the question: How do we finance, design, and deliver the transition developments to net zero?

Decarbonizing the Built EnvironmentMonday, September 22 · 6–8 pm ET | 130 East 59th St., 7th Floor, New York, NY

Ben Shepherd, Director will participate in a panel discussion at Yale University centered around decarbonizing the existing building stock. As 80% of the buildings that will be occupied in 2050 already exist, decarbonizing the existing building stock will be critical to achieving a sustainable future. Ben will join Yale Faculty and practicing architects with experience in rehabilitating existing buildings to address this challenge both from a theoretical and practical perspective.
