We are excited to announce that Junko Nakagawa has elevated to Associate Director of the New York office!
Junko is an experienced sustainable design consultant and licensed architect. She pulls from her work around the world to provide the most cutting-edge ideas to her clients. Her creative design solutions elevate architecture and exceed sustainability goals.
Junko has played an instrumental role enhancing the human experience in our projects. At Atelier Ten, Junko has managed Columbia University’s Manhattanville Campus in becoming the first project to receive the LEED Neighborhood Development Platinum certification in the United States. With her leadership, NYU’s 370 Jay Street exceeded expectations and earned LEED Platinum certification. Her passion for cultural buildings has led to innovative projects like the Gilder Center at the American Museum of Natural History.
