Atelier Ten worked closely with Foster + Partners to cultivate a 20-year sustainable vision for Cleveland Clinic, which aims to increase its level of environmental stewardship as it grows in the coming decades. Atelier Ten tested and recommended strategies to encourage this planned state-of-the-art development to focus on reducing its energy, water, and material consumption, while providing healthy and pleasant spaces for patients, staff, and visitors. The masterplan design creates a hierarchy for deployment of various systems such as renewable energy, stormwater management zones, amenity spaces, and vegetated open space. Atelier Ten’s team included Director, Paul Stoller, and Associate Director, Ben Shepherd from the New York office.
