Ben Shepherd, Associate Director at Atelier Ten, will speak at SCUP 2014 North Atlantic Regional Conference on Thursday, March 13, 9:00-10:00 a.m. The presentation, titled “Creating a Framework to Enable a More Sustainable Future,” will offer an informative model for district scale sustainable planning. Using Harvard Business School’s (HBS) environment framework as a case study, the presentation will highlight innovative methods of district environmental analysis, assessment, and technical strategies for reducing HBS’ ecological footprint while increasing the total building square footage of the campus.
Ben will be joined by Meghan Duggan, Assistant Director for Sustainability & Energy at Harvard University, and Nicole Holmes, Project Manager for Green Infrastructure Design at Nitsch Engineering. The panel will be convened by Chris Drobat, President of Lavallee Brensinger Architects.
