Double win for Atelier Ten at The Retrofit and Reuse Awards 2025!

We are proud to share that the Edinburgh Futures Institute won both the Client of the Year award as well as the Conservation and Historic (£10 million and over) award.

The project involved restoring the category A-listed Old Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh into the Edinburgh Futures Institute, which is now a hub for multidisciplinary collaboration data-led innovation, education, research, and partnership. Atelier Ten delivered fire engineering to the project including finding alternative solutions to external fire spread for boundary distances and protected zones whilst keeping flexibility in the design.
