Yes, to a First Nations Voice to Parliament

On October 14, 2023, Australians will vote in a referendum to decide whether to change the Constitution and establish a First Nations Voice to Parliament.

Atelier Ten supports the Uluru Statement from the Heart and its call for the establishment of a First Nations Voice enshrined in the Constitution. We believe this is one positive step towards truth-telling, self-determination, reconciliation, and a better future.

On our projects across Australia, we have witnessed the positive cultural, social and environmental impact of amplifying the voices of our First Nations design collaborators and designing with Country. Our Sydney and Melbourne teams understand that listening to, respecting, and empowering First Nations communities is fundamental to our mission, to create a more sustainable future.

We encourage all Australians to listen and learn more about the Uluru Statement from the Heart and a First Nations Voice to Parliament.

The Statement

YES 23.

Atelier Ten acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the lands on which our offices are located, the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung and the Gadigal.

We are inspired by and learn from their knowledge and stories of Country and recognise their continuing connections to land, water, skies, and communities. Atelier Ten pays respect to Traditional Owners, their cultures, and to Elders past and present.
