Engagement with schools and collegesStaff
Atelier Ten has developed a meaningful outreach program to engage local schools and institutions and host work-experience students. We work with Talentino and the Royal Academy of Engineering to widen access for students with additional needs and for under-represented groups. Colleagues also teach at the Architectural Association, UCL, Central Saint Martins and the Royal College of Art so students can connect ideas with practice.

Internal training, mentoring and development
Our graduate programme blends monthly training with on-the-job learning and flexible e-learning. Practice groups and regular Knowledge Share sessions build skills across the office. Graduates coordinate twice-weekly CPD, gaining experience in organising and chairing sessions. Our mentoring program provides a platform for regular check-ins alongside an open-door slot with our UK Executive Director. Rotations across disciplines and time in the BIM team embed digital skills from the start.

Initiatives to grow young talent in the sector
Development continues beyond our studio. We encourage participation in CIBSE YEN, the HVAC group, WiBSE and SoPHe, and support knowledge sharing through panels and webinars. An employee led EDIB group shapes policy and culture, from improved parental provisions to inclusive office events. Our competency based review process and five year strategy set clear pathways into leadership.
