As the Associate Director overseeing Atelier Ten’s Environmental Design Practice, Larry works to advance and expand the technical proficiency and research acumen of the practice. He provides environmental and LEED consulting services to a portfolio of ultra-high-performance projects and has particular experience managing LEED, Estidama, and Living Building Challenge green building certifications.
With a background in environmental design and management systems, Larry’s experience focuses on the design of high-performance laboratories, the greening of K-12 schools, and a wide variety of adaptive reuse and large scale masterplans and developments. Recent high-performance projects include the LEED Platinum targeted and Living Building Challenge targeted Environmental Center at Frick Park, the LEED Platinum Dartmouth Life Science Center, Boston University’s Admissions Reception Center, and the renewals of selected Harvard University River Houses.
Larry currently teaches a systems integration course at Yale School of Architecture. He is a LEED Fellow and holds a B.S. in Environmental Engineering from Syracuse University.
