Double win for Atelier Ten at The Herald Property Awards for Scotland 2025
Double win for Atelier Ten at The Herald Property Awards for Scotland 2025! We’re proud to share that The Resident Edinburgh won Best Regeneration Project (Commercial), and Lost Shore Surf Resort received the Judges’ Special Recognition Award.
Atelier Ten delivered fire engineering for The Resident Edinburgh of Resident Hotels. The 164-room hotel is a sustainable retrofit of a 1950s concrete office block. Working alongside MLA, the project reimagines the existing structure to align with its historic Victorian streetscape while retaining the building’s embodied carbon. It’s a shining example of sensitive urban regeneration that blends heritage with high-performance design in the heart of the capital.
For Lost Shore Surf Resort, Europe’s largest inland surf destination, Atelier Ten delivered building services, environmental design, and fire engineering. In collaboration with Oberlanders Architects and HarrisonStevens Landscape Architecture & Urban Design, this pioneering project brings together innovative engineering and sustainability to create a unique, world-class leisure experience.
Congratulations to all the other winners!
