Women In Engineering
Fire engineer Shonah Macdonald was invited to Glasgow Caledonian University to take part in making a film to encourage women into the engineering industry. In the film she talks about her time at university, how she found it and what she would recommend about the fire engineering course.
Shonah spoke about why she enjoyed being a graduate engineer at Atelier Ten, what she has learned since starting here and the number of opportunities she have been given. Shonah also gave her views on women in engineering and why she thinks women should not be discouraged from becoming engineers. Shonah may also be featured in the 2016 university prospectus to help encourage female applicants to engineering courses.
