Shaping what’s next for Green Star
Atelier Ten is proud to be represented across five of the Green Building Council of Australia’s Green Star Expert Reference Panels. These panels provide technical guidance on sustainability themes that shape Green Star credits, covering carbon, resilience, biodiversity, social value and precinct-scale outcomes.
Our role is to stress test draft credits, review industry feedback, and advise on new pathways, policies and rating tools. With updates underway to Green Star Buildings v1.1, Green Star Communities v2, and the upcoming Green Star Fitouts tool, we’re contributing our insights to shape the next generation of sustainability benchmarks. By volunteering our expertise, we’re ensuring these reflect the realities of design and delivery, grounded in the challenges and opportunities we encounter every day across the built environment.
Our representatives and panels.
Sustainable Precincts – Paul Stoller
“Great places set the scene for healthier, happier, more affordable, and more delightful lives. I am excited to continue working with the GBCA to shape the Green Star Communities tool, and its communities of practice, to better support the creation and assured delivery of greater, and more sustainable, precincts.”
Energy & Carbon – Jennifer Elias
“I’m looking forward to collaborating with the panel, to shape the Net Zero trajectory for Australia’s Built Environment.”
Resilience – Lucy Marsland
“I am eager to tackle the gnarly challenges of building resilience in the built environment through integrated design moves that are tailored, practical and add value for community legacy.”
Nature & Biodiversity – Stewart Monti
“Nature-positive design is now essential to performance, not an add-on. We’re advancing practical, evidence-based guidance which will enable industry to deliver real biodiversity benefits, project by project.”
