Paul Stoller reappointed to NSW Government Architect’s State Design Review Panel

Paul Stoller, Managing Director at Atelier Ten, has been reappointed to the NSW Government Architect’s State Design Review Panel (SDRP). The appointment recognises Paul’s sustainability leadership to support design and place excellence across NSW.

The SDRP provides independent advice on state significant projects. Panels are usually convened prior to lodgement so advice can shape the outcome. Projects typically include State Significant Development, State Significant Precincts and State Significant Infrastructure.

Reviews aim to reduce risk by identifying issues early and by providing an integrated evaluation that balances the brief with context, heritage, sustainability, budget and planning for the future. By giving decision makers clear advice on design matters, reviewers help to lift quality and streamline approvals. Early engagement helps maximise public benefit and value for money.

Design review in NSW combines cross disciplinary expertise and follows a formal independent advisory process. Panels bring diverse professional experience and provide a consistent way to test ideas and resolve issues. Paul brings a practical sustainability lens to this process, linking performance, resilience and user experience.

“I am honoured to continue supporting design and place excellence through the SDRP. I look forward to contributing a sustainability lens and practical design thinking to help teams achieve quality outcomes for communities across NSW.” Paul Stoller, Managing Director, Atelier Ten
