We create long-lasting relationships with our collaborators, clients and colleagues throughout the industry.
About the role
This role is for a BREEAM and Embodied Carbon Specialist in a permanent position based in our Glasgow office. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary project team at Atelier Ten, supporting both building certification and embodied carbon assessments across a wide range of projects.
The role will involve delivering and coordinating BREEAM and Home Quality Mark assessments, including feasibility studies, credit strategies, documentation management and certification. In addition, you will support the embodied carbon team, undertaking life cycle assessments using tools such as One Click LCA, applying RICS Whole Life Carbon (2nd edition) methodology, and collaborating with cost consultants and design teams to inform low-carbon design decisions.
This position would suit someone with a sustainability, environmental design, architecture, or quantity surveying/cost management background who is keen to develop expertise across both certification and embodied carbon.
About you
You have a numerate degree in sustainability, environmental design, architecture, quantity surveying, or a related discipline, along with some professional experience in the built environment. You are proactive, self-motivated and comfortable working across multiple projects and workstreams.
You are curious, enthusiastic about learning new skills and methodologies, and enjoy collaborating and sharing knowledge across teams. If you are excited by innovation, data-driven decision making and helping to shape the future of low-carbon buildings, this is an opportunity to grow with an influential consultancy.
