Atelier Ten welcomes Kate Nason!

Atelier Ten is pleased to announce that Kate Nason has joined our Melbourne team! A recognised leader in environmental design, Kate has particular expertise in Passive House and its use to curb building emissions while creating more resilient urban centres. In 2018 Kate was awarded a Byera Hadley Travelling Scholarship by the NSW Architects Registration Board to research international best practices with Passive House, you can read her full report online.

A Certified Passive House Designer (PHI) originally trained as an architect (ARBV), Kate has helped shape a more sustainable built environment in exemplar projects including PH certified Monash Gillies Hall while at JCBA and the design and development of a scalable prefabricated PH building system during her time at ARKit. Kate serves as a Board Director at the Australian Passive House Association, she speaks regularly on sustainable design at industry events, and she lectures and teaches in architectural schools.

We are excited to work with Kate and to share her insights with Atelier Ten projects across Australia!
