San Francisco Team is Growing

Henry Richardson, Technical Staff

After working with ONG&ONG in Singapore, Henry returned to the Bay Area to pursue a passion for sustainable design. As a Technical Staff member for the Environmental Design practice, he provides a new perspective on façade optimization, daylight analysis, thermal comfort and water balance. Henry holds an undergraduate degree in Architecture from the University of California, Berkeley and is a LEED Green Associate.

 

Kate Waddick, Environmental Designer

Kate is the newest addition to the Environmental Design practice with a MS in Environmental Health and a BA in Architecture from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis. Her background in Toxicology and Industrial Hygiene bolsters Atelier Ten’s expertise in healthy buildings, indoor air quality, and wellness. Prior to Atelier Ten, Kate worked in Orange County at Cardno ChemRisk and at the Indoor Air Quality Program for the California Department of Public Health in San Francisco.

 

Justin Smith, Environmental Designer

Justin joins Atelier Ten’s Energy Analysis practice as an Environmental Designer. He is LEED AP BD+C, a Living Future Institute member and holds a BS in Civil Engineering from Purdue University. Formerly with Integral Group, Justin brings experience with analyzing and designing high-performance sustainable building systems and HVAC design.

 

Jessica Rafferty, Marketing and Office Manager

Jessica brings a comprehensive knowledge of the AE industry to the San Francisco office as the Marketing and Office Manager. Jessica has an undergraduate degree in Architecture and Urbanism from Smith College. Prior to Atelier Ten, she worked with EHDD as marketing coordinator and Bohlin Cywinski Jackson as project administrator. Jessica is currently on the AIA San Francisco Communications Committee and the Missing 32% Project.
