Henley Hall at UC Santa Barbara Institute for Energy Efficiency

Atelier Ten is pleased to announce that it is on the winning design team for this new and ambitious building at the University of California Santa Barbara. The team, led by longtime Atelier Ten client KieranTimberlake, was selected for its extensive experience with energy-efficient academic buildings and for its collaborative design process.

The Institute, which is targeting net-zero energy for Henley Hall, is a renowned interdisciplinary research institute dedicated to researching and developing technological solutions for an efficient, sustainable and clean energy future.

Claire Maxfield, Director of the San Francisco office, will lead Atelier Ten’s environmental design team.

Atelier Ten’s projects with KieranTimberlake include Keeling Aparmtments at Revelle College, UC San Diego, McKinlock Hall and the renovation of Old Quincy, both at Harvard University, and Yale University’s Sculpture Building and Gallery.
