Sheena Zhang LEED AP BD+C, RA, LFA

Associate, New York

Sheena Zhang is an Associate of the New York office. As a Registered Architect, Sheena brings a technical understanding of the many pressures and opportunities available to her building projects, as well as a graphic language to effectively communicate with her project teams.

Sheena has successfully managed projects of all scales including adaptive reuse, institutional and healthcare buildings, and masterplans with a wide range of sustainability goals like net-zero operational and embodied carbon, zero waste of resources, and net zero water waste. Sheena has been influential in Atelier Ten’s materials practice and has developed a sustainable sourcing framework and custom healthy materials criteria for various projects. Her work includes LEED Platinum and WELL Gold 550 Madison Avenue, LEED Platinum 370 Jay Street, and Princeton Lake Campus Site Development.

She holds a dual Master of Architecture from the Yale School of Architecture and a Master of Environmental Management from the Yale School of the Environment. She graduated from the University of Georgia as a Foundation Fellow with a B.S. Ecology, B.S. Biology, and B.S. Honors Interdisciplinary Study in Sustainable Design in the Built Environment. She is a part-time faculty at Pratt Institute and the Parsons School of Design.
