Resilient Infrastructure

We are pleased to announce that Ben Shepherd, Director of the New York office, has been appointed as Co-Chair of the Infrastructure Council for ULI New York.

Ben joined ULI in 2016 as a member of the University Development and Innovation Council and now joins 30 other industry experts in the Infrastructure Council. The council examines New York City and its surrounding region’s functionality and prosperity. They discuss topics like transportation, energy, water supply, waste treatment, and stormwater management.

Ben’s work on high-performing New York projects include the newly appointed LEED Platinum 370 Jay Street and the LEED Gold Kimmel Pavilion at NYU Langone Medical Center.

His experience with urban ecology, renewable energy systems, and green development assessments will significantly contribute to his new role as Co-Chair of the Infrastructure Council.
