Amy Leedham AIA, LEED AP ND, WELL AP

Associate Director, San Francisco

Amy Leedham is an Associate Director of the San Francisco office and leads the US carbon practice. As a registered architect, Amy combines her expertise in building physics and architecture to foster communication between the design team and technical consultants in the pursuit of design excellence. During her time at Atelier Ten, she has delivered some of our most complex projects with ambitious goals such as net zero energy, zero water waste, enhanced occupant health, and carbon neutrality.

Amy is a recognized leader in addressing carbon emissions of the built environment and finding innovative yet practical solutions to reducing the embodied carbon impact of buildings, masterplans, and portfolios. From evaluating the challenges of high rise mass timber, to balancing forest health and supply chain challenges, to addressing the missing pieces in embodied carbon accounting, Amy approaches carbon issues with a holistic perspective, always keeping an eye on the bigger picture.

Amy holds a Bsc in Architecture from Northeastern University and an M.Arch in Sustainable Environmental Design from The Architectural Association in London. Beyond Atelier Ten, Amy has taught The University of California Berkely, The Academy of Art University, and the Architectural Association.
