Sustainable Healthcare Masterplanning with Ben Shepherd

Ben Shepherd, Associate, will give a presentation on sustainable healthcare masterplanning at CleanMed in Denver, CO on April 30.  His presentation titled Beyond the Buildings…Diagnosing What’s Next in Sustainable Healthcare Masterplanning, will discuss how to create high-performance, healing environments from an institutional masterplanning perspective.

Drawing from his experience working with leading institutions, including the Cleveland Clinic and NYU Langone Medical Center, Ben will address the issues and specific challenges facing healthcare design today and discuss strategies for campuses that continue to evolve in the midst of changing sustainability metrics, standards and regulations.  He will also discuss the recently released LEED for Healthcare system, and specifically its impact on sustainable healthcare.
