Mark Loeffler Published as a Featured Speaker at 2015 LightFair International

Mark Loeffler, Director of Atelier Ten in the New Haven office is featured in the April edition of LD+A Magazine as a highlight of 2015 LightFair International Conference. This year’s five-day program features 78 course offerings and more than 130 speakers.  With a rich background as a creative and sustainable lighting designer, Mark advocates a practical approach starting with darkness and no energy consumption, using the least resources to achieve the best visual and environmental results.

Mark’s seminar “Base Zero Lighting Design” explains his long standing philosophy and urges a paradigm shift in thinking about lighting design. Instead of over designing then whittling down to meet code, he takes an additive path starting with optimal daylighting.  Mark offers a unique perspective focusing on human visual needs instead of generic standards.  Join Mark as he presents at the Javits Center in New York, NY on Wednesday, May 6th from 2 – 3:30 PM under session code L15S16 in room 1E12.
