Jurong Lake Shortlist

The Urban Redevelopment Authority master plan in Singapore

Working in a team with Allies and Morrison, Architects 61, Arup and Grant Associates, we have been selected as one of the five teams shortlisted to develop a concept masterplan for Singapore’s Jurong Lake District. Launched in July 2016, the competition attracted 35 teams of local and international acclaimed architects, designers, engineers and planners.

The masterplan will realise the vision of Singapore’s Urban Redevelopment Agency to transform Jurong Lake District into a ‘district of the future’. The design will have to take into consideration the high-density mixed-used urban districts and a high-speed rail station. Key elements of the design will consist of transport, planning and integration.

The winner of the competition will be announced before the New Year.
