Five new staff members join Atelier Ten New York

John Dalton, Finance Leader
John joins Atelier Ten as the Finance Leader for the US operation. Formerly with McKinsey & Company, he has worked in the field of offshore construction in Europe. John has a particular interest in the sustainable development practice. He is a Fulbright scholar, and holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and an MA in Applied Mathematics from Brown University.

Volkan Doda, Technical Staff
Volkan is the newest addition to the Technical Staff team in the New York office. He strives to balance on the fine line between architecture and engineering, with a BS in Architecture (design) and Engineering Sciences (mechanical) from Yale University. Prior to joining Atelier Ten, he worked at Robert A.M. Stern Architects where he helped advance a student housing project to near completion.

Shreshth Nagpal, Senior Environmental Designer
Shreshth joins Atelier Ten’s Energy Analysis practice with over a decade of experience in the field of high-performance building design. He is an ASHRAE HPBD, a LEED AP, and holds an MS in Energy Performance Building Design and a B.Arch. Before joining the New York office full-time as a Senior Environmental Designer, Shreshth worked as a consultant to several architectural, mechanical, and environmental design groups on the application of building performance simulation and analysis for architectural design and systems optimization.

Curt Rohner, Environmental Designer
Curt joins Atelier Ten’s Environmental Design practice in the New York office with eight years of energy modeling and mechanical design experience having worked for design and engineering firms including Cannon Design, Henderson Engineering, and Larson Binkley. Possessing experience in disaster redevelopment as a founding member of Historic Green, a non-profit organized around sustainable community redevelopment, Curt has a breadth of experience working on the ground with residents, volunteers, designers, craftsmen, and contractors. Curt is a native Kansan and holds a BS in Architectural Engineering from the University of Kansas.

Alyssa Zucker, Technical Staff
Alyssa joins Atelier Ten’s Environmental Design practice in the New York office as a full-time Technical Staff member. Having previously worked in the cleantech renewables and facility management industries, she supports the team in analyzing the design options behind sustainable buildings. She holds a BA in Environmental Studies from Washington University in St. Louis and an MPA in Environmental Science and Policy from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs.
