Emilie Hagen to present The Kohler Environmental Center

Emilie Hagen, Associate of Atelier Ten, will join Kevin M. Smith, Partner of Robert A.M. Stern, at the offices of Robert A.M. Stern on Thursday, October 3, 6:00-8:00 P.M.  Joining Kevin and Emilie will be Craig Razza of Kohler Ronan and Joe Scanio, the head teacher at Kohler Environmental Center.

Their presentation, titled “When Buildings Teach: Exploring the Kohler Environmental Center,” will discuss how the highest level of LEED certification and net zero-usage of this academic building was achieved. Emilie and Kevin will also share their views on how to bring together building, landscape, and curriculum to support an interdisciplinary course of environmental study.
