Chad Groshart on energy legislation in IALD News

Chad Groshart, Associate Director of Atelier Ten’s New Haven office and leader of the Lighting Design practice, discusses how current legislation may affect the building industry in the recent International Association of Lighting Designers (IALD) article “U.S. Energy Legislation Threatens Code Development Process.”

The IALD along with such organizations as the Illuminating Engineering Society (IES), ASHRAE, the Alliance to Save Energy (ASE), and the American Society of Landscape Architects are opposing the Blackburn-Schrader amendments as it may restrict funding and support the Department of Energy currently provides for code development.
