Chad Groshart on Light Innovation at Urban Green Panel

Chad Groshart, associate director in Atelier Ten’s New Haven office and lighting design practice leader, spoke with Urban Green Council in a Q&A entitled “Sustainable Lighting for All” as a preview for the panel discussion “Light Your Way Forward: New Trends in Lighting Design.” Ahead of the panel discussion, the Q&A shares Chad’s insights into lighting design and how his work in developing communities impacts high-performance and wellness-focused projects. The panel discussion, scheduled for Monday, March 27, will be moderated by Atelier Ten associate Bret Mantyk and will delve into new trends and innovations in lighting design as they relate to wellness, energy savings, circadian rhythm, and biophilic design. Chad will be joined by David Briefel, Sustainability Director and Regional Design Resilience Leader at Gensler, and Meg Smith, Senior Project Manager of Applications Solutions at Philips Lighting Research.
