Atelier Ten US Promotions

Emma Marchant, Associate

Emma Marchant was promoted to Associate in the San Francisco office. Emma previously worked for Atelier Ten’s London office and has been in the San Francisco office since 2010. Emma is the practice leader for masterplanning. Some of her key projects include the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, the Lower Sproul Redevelopment at UC Berkeley, the McMurtry Art and Art History Building at Stanford University, the Phoenix Observation Tower, the National Theatre London, and the World Wildlife Federation Living Planet Centre in the UK. She has given talks at the SF Planning Department, Agrion, and the USC Executive Education and Professional Development.

 

Madhav Munshi, Senior Environmental Designer

Madhav Munshi was promoted to Senior Environmental Designer in the New York office. As one of our Energy Analysis experts, Madhav has expertise in building systems optimization, HVAC controls and systems selection, and comprehensive life-cycle analyses. He also works closely with Atelier Ten’s masterplanning practice, mapping carbon profiles for master plans and projecting future emissions. Madhav’s most recent achievements at Atelier Ten include developing the firm’s NYSERDA consulting services, and lending his expertise and knowledge of energy analysis software to train new staff. Madhav has been a Studio Critic for the architecture programs at Columbia University and at the Parsons New School for Design. Madhav has an MS in Building Sciences from Arizona State University and a B.Arch from the University of Mumbai. He is a LEED-AP.

 

Shruti Kasarekar, Senior Environmental Designer

Shruti Kasarekar was promoted to Senior Environmental Designer in the San Francisco office. Shruti’s projects include The Anderson Collection at Stanford University, the Comstock Graduate Housing at Stanford University, the GSA Broward County Federal Building in Tampa, the Museum of the American Revolution in Philadelphia, the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, and the Theater for a New Audience in Brooklyn. Prior to working at Atelier Ten, Shruti worked as an Energy Analyst for ARUP and an architect for Archivista Engineering Projects. Shruti has an MS in Building Sciences from Arizona State University and a B.Arch from Pune University in India. She is the current Chair of the Golden Gate Chapter of IBPSA-USA. She served as a committee Member for the ASHRAE BEAP and BEMP examinations.
