Atelier Ten at 2015 AIA National Convention

Atelier Ten’s Lighting Designer, Rebecca Mintz from the New Haven office, will speak at the 2015 AIA National Convention on Friday, May 15th in Atlanta, GA. Rebecca will join the session “How We Use Evidence to Better Our Practice” with co-presenters Katherine Roden, Associate Principal from Centerbrook Architects and Rose Mary Su, an acoustician from Acentech to give a presentation on Evidence Based Design (EBD) process.

The presentation will focus on the benefits and implementation of the EBD process and explore case studies with a focus on lighting, daylighting, acoustic and energy modeling practices. Drawing from her expertise on sustainable design and experience with LEED projects, Rebecca designs pleasing atmospheres while minimizing energy consumption. Rebecca will provide insight, as a lighting designer and project manager, into the development of creative, energy efficient lighting solutions that address the human experience while responding to programmatic requirements.

The presentation held at Georgia World Congress Center 285 Andrew Young International Blvd NW will take place on Friday, May 15th at 2:00pm-3:00pm in Room B313.
